Who Am I?

Ameya Kadam- An explorer, a wanderer and a father to 2 cute cats - Bibtya and Bageera.

I am a Candid photographer currently living in Mumbai, India. I’m a foodie, I love to travel, I enjoy my friends company, animals & my family.

I strongly believe that in any kind of event each moment has a power to last a lifetime and stay with the family for years to come. And these moments are what I live for and swear by. Being around these special moments of families and being able to capture its true essences gives me a great sense of joy and pride.

I feel blessed that I get a chance to go across the country and meet so many family, witness varied emotions and try to give them back each and every moment just as it was.

My Style & Approach

I believe each moment taking place during an event is in its honest and pure form of emotion. I try to be an observer and not to intrude anything happening. No forced moments or fake emotions, everything just as natural and raw.

To break the monotony in event photography I try to mix various styles like photo journalism, portraiture and documentary photography yet adding my own essence into it which I bring in from how I am as a person and all that I observe in my daily life as a photographer.

So to sum it up, I try to make these pictures a run down the memory lane every time u see it. I wish to bring back all that you felt that day every time you flip through these moments. As you go ahead, I want these memories to be preserved so that the generations to come can look at your journey your story and feel like they were too a part of it.
